Paradise Park/Willow Street
Waterfront Development site, located in Historic Highlands is a 12-acre parcel that consisted of a dated trailer park, neglected marina, and restaurant. Revitalizing efforts began in 2008 and were being finalized when Super Storm Sandy obliterated the site in October 2012. The redevelopment master plan consists of a 49 unit residential development (Navesink Shores) and a 130 slip marina (Sandy Hook Bay Marina). The Waterfront Development project earned the 2017 Monmouth County Planning Board Merit Award.
